A crazy weather day!

The weather today has been the textbook definition of crazy!

The day began with an overcast sky, and I woke up to the pitter patter of raindrops against the window pane. By the time I was sipping my coffee, the sun had made an unenthusiastic appearance and birds were chirping in the trees.

An hour later I looked out the window to see snowfall!

Wait, what?!

I rubbed my eyes and looked again. Yup, there was a steady snowfall and I could even see a bit of snow collecting on branches and bushes outside!

Well, I chuckled, perhaps it decided to show up for a last hurrah.

The snowfall was brief and soon the skies were back to being overcast.

By lunchtime, the sun was out in full swing, with bright sunshine streaming in through the windows!

And now, as I sip my evening tea and type this, it’s snowing outside again.

No wait, it stopped, again.

Fickle weather!

And I thought I was the only one who had trouble making up my mind!

In the picture: I’ve been attempting quilled paper flowers lately. Today’s theme was lavender. I think lavender is a very calm colour, perfect for a crazy weather day like today! Wouldn’t you agree?
