A typo
In my work,
Just sitting there
Mocking me with a smirk;
Laughing in my face
For not taking time
To read through carefully
And proofread every line.

Ah! It’s alright!
I’m only human after all;
I’m allowed to make mistakes
Both big and small;
There’d be no fun in life
If we were all perfect,
A mistake is just another chance
To learn, grow and self-correct!

(And next time, before I hit send,
I’ll run the blessed spell-check!)
